EBC Racings' RP‑X compound is an ultra‑high performance track and race pad designed for performance vehicles driven hard on track and for dedicated race cars. RP‑X has a very stable friction coefficient of 0.55μ up to and beyond 850℃, making it an excellent performer for even the most demanding vehicle applications.
RP‑X also has a high friction level from cold, requiring no warmup to achieve maximum braking effect which makes this material well suited for sprint race and hill climb events. Although RP‑X is not R90 homologated for use on the public roads in EU member states, the fact this material possesses excellent cold performance means RP‑X can be safely used for driving to/from motorsport events (where local laws permit).

EBC make two sintered pad blends, SR11 lower friction and SR21 high friction.
Both are fully sintered pad blends for fastest asphalt race and endurance applications and have been independently dyno tested to LMGTE/GTLM race parameters. The new EBC SR range is a low-noise, fast bedding, long-life sintered pad blend that is designed to offer the LOWEST pad-wear-cost-per-lap in race driving. The pads work on a deposit film basis which reduces disc/rotor wear to almost zero. Bed-in is almost instant with one lap normally sufficient on decent rotor surfaces.
Just add the appropriate suffix to select higher or lower friction after the part number and thickness dimension.

EBC Racing's RP‑1 compound is an ultra‑high performance track and race pad designed for high performance vehicles driven hard on track. RP‑1 has a very stable friction coefficient of 0.45μ up to and beyond 750℃, making it an excellent performer for even the most demanding vehicle applications.
Due to its relatively high friction coefficient, RP‑1 is not Reg 90 homologated for road use within Europe and is therefore illegal for use on the public road. Unlike some other race pads on the market, RP‑1 offers a usable cold friction of 0.35μ below 100℃ meaning it can be safely used as a road pad for non‑European markets where Reg 90 homologation is not mandatory. At 100℃ the friction gently climbs to 0.45μ and stays there up to and beyond the designed upper working temperature range of 750℃.

EBC's famous Yellowstuff material has a high cold friction level, boasts excellent pedal 'feel' and exhibits superior fade resistance compared to OEM parts.
Yellowstuff pads offer a depth of precision and control most other brake pads could only dream of, yet they achieve this high level of performance without sacrifices in noise levels or wheel dusting. No wonder Yellowstuff is one of the most popular performance road pad choices among driving enthusiasts the world over.

Yellowstuff ⁃ A first in a new range of 'Hybrid' materials that can be safely and legally used on worlds roads being R90 approved UK are a high friction upgrade pad for all fast street use
and can also be used on the track with proper bedding (see bed in procedures)
Yellowstuff has been the flagship pad by EBC for over a decade and gives instant brake response, great feel and modulations with silk-smooth noise free braking and was also improved in 2021 to be copper free and conform to all new legislations for the environment and our pads are fully shimmed chamfered and slotted .
Yellow arrives with pad surface Brake-in coating to accelerate pad bedding after install.
- 0.48 stable friction once bedded
- Strong initial bite ,work from cold
- Zero rotor damage
- Short to medium race lifetime
- Copper free for ECO compliance
- Fast street use is OK but please read our notes on Yellow Pad Bedding-In here

Developed as a full race pad with a high friction level that increases with temperature.

Our Fully-Floating 2-Piece Brake Discs will be supplied with either a thermic black or standard metallic silver disc ring
- PRICE PER AXLE SET (incl. LH and RH disc)
- Designed, manufactured and run-out tested inthe UK
- Sold either as a direct replacement for performance vehicles where 2-piece brake discs are fitted as standard
- OR as a simple bolt-on 2-piece floating upgrade for vehicles with 1-piece cast iron discs fitted as standard. Where the vehicle has a 2-piece pin-drive brake disc as original equipment, EBC’s SG2F 2-piece disc upgrade seamlessly replaces the pin-drive disc with a true fully-floating 2-piece disc, whilst requiring no vehicle modifications
- No vehicle modifications are required for 2-piece disc conversions
- 48 directionally handed curved vanes for effective heat dissipation
- Lower operating temperatures help delay the onset of brake fade
- Lighter weight than OE discs
